DogTime Review: Can The ‘Embark Adventure Harness’ Hold My Super Strong Dog?

My dog, Archer, who is also called Archie, Archibald, Arturo, Archie-Wa-Wa, and several other names, is approximately 75 pounds. So, I’m very careful to make sure that, when it comes to getting a harness for him, it’s strong enough to take his weight and strength.

Durability is what’s needed most with Archer, as he’s not what you would call a “walking dog.” He’s not the kind to take leisurely strolls on a leash.

No, Archer more alternates between pulling on the leash in order to get somewhere to sniff something and smelling every other millimeter of the Earth and refusing to move until he has gotten every smell molecule into his prominent schnoz.

So when I got the chance to review the Adventure Dog Harness from Embark, I had my concerns. Could it contain a tough pup like Archer? Here’s how it held up.

Archer Is One Strong Doggo

Being that Archer is a strong dog, my greatest fear with harnesses is that he’ll snap or rip right through them. Suffice it to say, I have to pull the leash quite often with Archer.

When I first put on Archer’s new Adventure Dog Harness from Embark, I kept going back to a worrying thought: what if this harness can’t hold Archer? What if he tears through the harness like the Incredible Hulk tears through shirts and then runs away and never comes back?

What would I write in this review then? I don’t think such a harrowing story would work out as a review for DogTime. This is a nice website for people to see what’s going on with our favorite furry friends. Maybe if we start a spinoff website like DogTime: SVU, such an upsetting review would fit. But that doesn’t exist–yet.

Needless to say, Archer is the perfect pooch to find out if a harness is tough enough to hold up for mighty mutts.

So Can This Harness Stand Up To A Super Pup?

I am happy to tell you, I needn’t have worried. The Embark Adventure Harness is durable, strong, and very dependable.

Archer took it to the backyard:

In the car:

This harness is durable! Archer, who is a strong dog–I’m not sure if I mentioned that–could not break or rip through it.

The Embark Adventure Dog Harness is shockingly lightweight, so I would often just leave it on Archer after we got back inside the house. Archer is obviously a very stylish and debonair dog, so his wardrobe must be the best of the best, and he fully endorses this harness.

I absolutely recommend Embark Adventure Dog Harness to any dog owner, regardless of their dog’s size and strength. You can purchase it without any worries.
